Week 717 – November 23rd, 2024

Holly Humberstone scores her 2nd week at the top with “Ghost me” (#1). She is following the two times #1 songs “Ich mag dich” (#2, “I like you) by LEA and “Erase you” (#3) by Mimi Webb. All these songs didn’t move this week as well as #4 “An alle da draußen” (“To everyone out there”) by SOPHIA. For the first time in the Top 5 is Austrian singer Revelle. Her song “Lieb dich, hass dich” (#5, “Love you, hate you”) climbed up three spots to enter this part of the chart.

Failing to enter the Top 5 for one more week is “Cocoon” (#6) by Holly Humberstone which is the last non-moving song in the Top 10. Directly behind you can find the highest ranked new song in this part of the chart. It is “Dancing in a hurricane” (#7) by Freya Ridings. It entered the Top 10 after climbing up five spots. Next in line is “Moonlit floor” (#10) by LISA. This song is caught between songs giving their Top 10 debut. The other debut in this part is “Unforgivable” (#9) by TAELA. Rounding out this week’s Top 10 is “Estate” (#10, “Summer”) and former #1 by Luca Vasta.

German singer Nina Chuba who is best known for her 2022 smash “Wildberry Lillet” is climbing up fast with her single “Fata Morgana” (#43). In its 3rd charting week this song climbed up 17 spots. This year seems to be a good year for US singer Gracie Abrams. Earlier this year she had a Top 10 hit with “Us” feat. Taylor Swift. Now she returns with her recent smash “That’s so true” (#42). During the week a gave her 2nd album “The secret of us” a chance and I really like what I heard. So her other single “Close to you” (#80) also got a debut. Alongside this album I finally bought the 3rd album “Obsessed” by Morgan Wade and country debut album “Hungover” by Ella Langley.

Other debuts are “Zu spät“ (#58, “Too late”) by Revelle, “Number one girl” (#74) by ROSÉ, “Wonder woman” (#78), “Island” (#79) and “Wildcard” (#88) by Miley Cyrus – this are the last three songs I’ve not charted from her album “Last summer vacation –, “Für dich kaputt” (#85, “Broken for you”) by BRUNKE, “I think they call this love” (#89) by Elliot James Reay and “OK later” (#98) by Onoleigh.
