Week 393 – September 8th, 2018

Unfortunately I’ve not been able to write a review last week. My PC crashed and I had to install everything again. But now a week later I’m her to present you a brand new #1. Italian singer Emma did it once again. She climbed up three spots with her recent single “Mi parli piano” (#1, “Talk to me slowly”). It is her 8th career #1 and her 2nd from her latest album. Last week’s #1 “Thru these tears” (#2) by LANY dropped one spot and is now the first to hunt Emma’s single. Up five spots is Norwegian singer Matilda with “You”. I really love this song and at the moment I can see this as the next long running #1. Next is “Heat” (#2) by Kelly Clarkson which dropped two spots. “You” isn’t the only new song in my Top 5. The other one is “In ein paar Jahren” (#5, “In a few years”) by Christina Stürmer.

Leading song in my 2nd part of my Top 10 is former #1 “I did something bad” (#6) by Taylor Swift. This song dropped three spots. On the other hand country pop by Cassadee Pope climbed up two spots so that “One more red light” (#7) is heavily knocking at the door to my Top 5. The next one is “Whole lotta woman” (#8) by Kelly Clarkson which dropped three spots. This song is followed by the only new song in my Top 10. Let’s welcome back Luke Sital-Singh with “Rough diamonds fall” which climbed up five spots. The Top 10 is rounded out by “Don’t blame me” (#10) by Taylor Swift.

Due to the installation problems I hadn’t really time to listen to new music. So I decided to only debut album cuts this week. The highest debut is by Aurea. She debuts with “That’s what I’m gonna do” (#75), “Too old too soon” (#76) and “Restart” (#78). And last but not least Annalisa also debuts with two songs from her latest album. She is in with “Le parole non mentono” (#91, “Words don’t lie”) and “Bianco nero e grigio” (#92, “White, black and grey”).
