Last week saw 23 debuts in this week there are still a lot of debuts. In total in these two weeks, I debuted 39 songs which makes 16 debuts in this week’s edition. Before I write something about the debuts in general let’s talk about the Top 10. As last week Alexa Cappelli is defending the top spot with “Temporary”. Three weeks at the top isn’t bad and as the Top 10 is generally old this song could spend some more weeks at the top. Directly behind as a double pack by Miley Cyrus. Her higher ranked one is “River” (#2). “Flowers” (#3) returned to the Top 3 in its 18th charting week. Because of this, “Engel” (#4, “Angel”) by German singer 1986zig had to leave and dropped two spots. “Velvet heartbreak” (#5) by Carrie Underwood is holding its spot in the Top 5.

Dylan Conrique is also holding the spot with her former #1 “Ugly” (#6). Swapping spots are Carrie Underwood’s “Burn” (#7) and Kwon Eun Bi’s “Underwater” (#8). The rest of the Top 10 is very stable. “Nie wieder sehen” (#9) by JuJu is still in the Top 10. It is amazing to see a song in its 23rd charting week in this part of the chart. Rounding out this week’s Top 10 is the non-moving song “Auf die Party” (#10, “To the party”) by badmómszjay x Domiziana.

This week the award for the greatest gainer of the week goes to two songs, because both songs climbed up 17 spots. The higher ranked one is “Renn zurück” (#25, “Run back”) by Esther Graf & Fourty. The other one is “Only problem” (#33) by Pale Waves. Both songs are on their way into the Top 20 or even higher. So, let’s see how the debuts have done in this week. The highest ranked one is by Morgan Wade. She dropped her recent single “Psychopath” (#57) from her upcoming 2nd album of the same name. I really like this one and hopefully “Psychopath” will end in the Top 10. The 2nd best debut is by Kelly Clarkson. She recently released with “Mine” and “Me” two singles which failed to enter my chart. Maybe I should give these songs another try. This week I found out about “Favorite kind of high” (#58). Here I can say that I like this song and if it works well this song should also reach the higher part of the chart. Directly behind you can find the latest single by Danish-Japanese singer Mina Okabe. With “Every second” she reached #1 last year and now she is back. I really like the vibe of the song and I’ve a very good feeling about this song. So, there is a chance to find this song at the top of the chart at some point of its chart run.

In general, there are some more interesting debuts. Last year Tenille Arts released her single “Jealous of myself”, but it failed to gain my attention. Now she released it with LeAnn Rimes. Her album “Sitting on top of the world” was the first country album I ever bought. I gave this song a try and now it landed it #66. Also back on the chart is US singer Colbie Caillat with “Worth it” (#72). It is definitely a good song and it should do well. Also returning is Anastacia. She released a cover of the well-known German song “Tage wie diese” (peaked at #76) which is the bands most successful song up to date. I like her cover “Best days” (#83), but I doubt that her version will be higher ranked then the original.

Other debuts are “Pineapple sunrise” (#80) by Beach Weather, “End of time” (#84) by Zara Larsson, “Dancing with your shadows” (#85) by Phillip Phillips, “Algarete” (#86, “Smile”) by Natti Natasha, “Good enough” (#92) by Lø Spirit, “Wishing well” (#93) by Ilira, “Love is a…” (#94) by PVRIS, “Destinazione mare” (#95, “Sea destination”) by Tiziano Ferro, “Unhealthy” (#96) by Anne-Marie feat. Shania Twain and “Feuer” (#97, “Fire”) by PIPPA.
