Week 710 – October 5th, 2024

Everything has its end. Now the Morgan Wade’s reign ended and German-Italian singer Luca Vasta took over with her smash “Estate” (#1, “Summer”). Last week I wrote that there is only a small chance to see this song at the top. Nevertheless, she took this small advantage and climbed up three spots with “Estate”. New at #2 is “Erase you” by Mimi Webb which I expected to be #1 in this week’s edition. Dropping two spots is last week’s #1 “Losers look like me” (#3) by Morgan Wade. Next in line is “Last one to love me” (#4) by Dylan Conrique. Dropping out of the Top 3 is former #1 “Domino” (#5) by Morgan Wade.
“Time to love, time to kill” (#6) is the only song by Morgan Wade in the Top 10 which didn’t drop. This song is leading a bunch of non-moving songs inside and outside the Top 10. Also holding its spot is “Für immer jetzt” (#7, “Forever now”) by Clueso. “Bloom” (#8) by Cheat Codes x Train failed to attack the Top 5 as well as “Bright lights” (#9) by The Killers and “Die with a smile” (#10) by Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars.

Last week LANY was awarded with the greatest gainer of the week with one of their songs. This week the same song “The older you get, the less you cry” (#28) is awarded again, but “Loslassen” (#63, “Let go”) by Aaron & Esther Graf also climbed up 14 spots and is awarded too. The highest debut is a duet but failed to enter the Top 50. It is “Happy every after” (#59) by Zach Hood & ROSIE. In the long run this song could be the biggest charting hit for them.

Colbie Caillat, “Look mom I can fly” (#93) by Livingston and “You go your way” (#97) by Perrie.
