Week 718 – November 30th, 2024

The November ended with the same #1 as in the week before. Holly Humberstone defended the crown for a 2nd time and so “Ghost me” (#1) is a three times #1. Next in line is former #1 “Ich mag dich” (#2, “I like you”) by LEA. These songs are followed by Austrian singer Revelle. “Lieb dich, hass dich” (#3, “Love you, hate you”) climbed up two spots. This is her first song in the Top 3. New in the Top 5 is “Dancing in a hurricane” (#4) by Freya Ridings. I first heard this song on my favourite radio station. As I know this isn’t a regular single, but the song itself made me by this album and now “Dancing in a hurricane” is on its way to the top. Down two spots is former #1 “Erase you” (#5) by Mimi Webb

“Moonlit floor” (#6) by LISA also climbed up two spots and should reach the Top 5 by next week. I’ve not thought that this song will do as well as but her it is. Falling out of the Top 5 is “An alle da draußen” (#7, “To everyone out there”) by SOPHIA. “Cocoon” (#8) by Holly Humberstone also dropped two spots. Holding their spots are “Unforgivable” (#9) by TAELA and “Estate” (#10) by Luca Vasta.

Last week Gracie Abrams debuted with “That’s so true” (#24). This week the song sprinted 18 spots up the chart and so it this one is the greatest gainer of the week. The only debut in the Top 50 is “Fliegen” (#42, “Flying”) by Nina Chuba. I really like this one and “Fata Morgana” (#23), but as I’m not the targeted listener most of her songs are either a hit or a miss for me. Generally, there are only a handful of debuts. Other debuts are “One eye open” (#87) by Mimi Webb, “Pink balloon” (#91) by Jade LeMac, “What about love” (#92) by LAY, “Baby it’s both” (#93) by ILLIT feat. Ava Max and “Body talk” (#97) by Kane Brown & Katelyn Brown.
