Week 726– January 25th, 2025

This is the last one for January and Gracie Abrams is once again topping the chart with “That’s so true” (#1). This also means that “Number one girl” (#2) by ROSÉ failed to return to the top spot. I really love these two songs and so it will be hard, but not impossible, to replace them. Also holding its spot is “Baby tu” (#3, “Baby you”) by Luca Vasta. Up one spot is “Love letter” (#4) by Knox. This song swapped spots with former #1 “Dancing in a hurricane” (#5) by Freya Ridings.

“Fliegen” (#6, “Flying”) by Nina Chuba failed again to enter the Top 5. As there are younger songs behind, I doubt that she will ever enter this part of the chart. Next in line is “Toxic till the end” (#7) by ROSÉ which climbed up two spots. Also up two spots is “Not The 1975” (#8) by Knox. The next two songs are new in the Top 10. “L’amore” (#9, “Love”) is now Luca Vasta’s 2nd Top 10 hit in this edition. The other one is “Feel something” (#10) by Pink.

This week’s greatest gainer is “Irgendwohin” (#23, “Somewhere”) by Antje Schomaker feat. Eva Briegel. The song climbed up 27 spots and could definitely seen in the Top 10 very soon. Two spots above is the highest debut. It is the latest single by German singer Madeline Juno who had several hits before on my chart. She entered the chart with “Reservetank” (#21, “Reserve tank”). With this song she has another top hit in her pocket and should easily reach the Top 5. The 2nd best debut is “In anderen Armen” (#53, “In other arms”) by NESS & Madeline Juno. I missed on that single, which was released before “Reservetank”, but it got a solid debut. Other debuts are “Te imaginaba” (#76, “I imagined you”) by Álvaro Soler, “Good in bed” (#77) and “Replacement” (#78) by TAELA.
