Week 753– August 2nd, 2025

 Nina Chuba scored her 2nd #1 this year with “Wenn das Liebe ist” (#1, “If this is love”). It will definitely be a bridge #1 as there are some songs I’ve in mind which also could do this one last step. Esther Graf’s Wenn’s am schönsten ist” (#2, “When it’s at its best”) comes in at the runner’s up spot. Last week’s top song “Set this thing on fire” (#3) by Anouk dropped two spots as well as the other former #1 “Kurt Cobain” (#4) by Luna Antonia. New in this part is “Wilde Nächte” (#5, “Wild nights”) by Sarah Connor after swapping spots with last week’s #5.

This means that long running #1 “Unsicher” (#5, “Insecure”) by Nina Chuba had to leave the top part of the chart in its 17th charting week. Leslie Clio catchy “Love has got me dancing” (#7) climbed up one spot is attacking the Top 5. New in the Top 10 is “Was ich fühle” (#8, “What I feel”) by Esther Graf which has also the chance to become her biggest hit on my chart. Down two spots is “Where the mind goes” (#9) by Anouk. For a 2nd week in a row “Die a million times” (#10) by FLØRE is rounding out the Top 10.

The greatest gainer of the week is “SOS” (#19) by Esther Graf feat. Elif. I really like this one, unfortunately it hadn’t been released as a regular single. This song climbed up 15 spots in this week’s edition. This week the highest debut just landed outside the Top 50. It is “Oldtimer” (#58, “Vintage car”) by Julia Meladin. This song could be her highest charting song in the future. Directly behind you can find two more new entries. The first to mention is “Easy lover” (#59) by Miley Cyrus from her latest album “Something beautiful”. The other one is “Küss mich” (#60, “Kiss me) by Florentina. For her this is her 1st chart appearance although she is releasing music since 2019.

Other debuts are “Welle” (#76, “Wave”) by HE/RO, “Breakdown” (#78) by Borderline, "I blame the bar” (#85), “Paint the town blue” (#86) all by Ella Langley, “Blossom” (#88) by Sunday (1994), “Carry me through” (#89) by Maren Morris, “Warum ich?” (#90, “Why I?”) by Kauta and “Nie genug” (#95, “Never enough”) by Cosima Kiby.
