Week 756– August 23rd, 2025

Esther Graf is holding the top spot with “Was ich fühl” (#1, “What I feel”) in a slow week. It is followed by “Love has got me dancing” (#2) by Leslie Clio who has the chance to top the chart for a 2nd time this year. For her it could be the first time since 2016 (she also did it in 2015) to top the chart more than once in a year. Also non-moving in the Top 3 is “Wenn das Liebe ist” (#3, “If this is love”) by Nina Chuba. Austrian singer PAENDA is reaching the Top 5 for the first time in her career with “Ey nah” (#4). Down two songs is “Wilde Nächte” (#6, “Wild nights”) by Sarah Connor.

Falling out of the Top 5 is “Wenn’s am schönsten ist” (#5, “When it’s at its best”) by Esther Graf. Nina Chuba is celebrating the 20th week in the Top 10 with “Unsicher” (#7, “Insecure”). This song is caught between two songs by Esther Graf. The other one is the album cut “SOS” (#8) feat. Elif. Down one are “Set this thing on fire” (#9) by Anouk and “Kurt Cobain” (#10) by Luna Antonia.

The greatest gainer of the week is a little bit unusual. It only climbed up nine spots and the songs are in their 9th charting week. I’m talking about “Bitter” (#24) and “Someone new” (#25) by Freya Ridings. I doubt that this will start a climb into the Top 20 as these songs are near the end of their chart run, but who knows. The highest debut is by Olivia Dean with her latest single “Man I need” (#57). She has produced several hits since her smash “Ok, love you bye”, but in the UK she managed to chart constantly since this year when she also entered the Top 10 three times including “Man I need”.
