Week 788 – April 10th, 2026

I’m back to my normal update rhythm. Zior Park is topping the chart for a third time in a row with his catchy “Dance alone” (#1). This also means that “To love somebody” (#2) by Holly Humberstone couldn’t bounce back and is now stuck at the runner’s up spot. New in the Top 3 is another song from the “Can this love be translated?” soundtrack. It is “Daydream” (#3) by Wendy. This leads to two firsts on my chart. For the first time two songs by South Korean acts are in my Top 3 at the same time and two songs from a soundtrack in the Top 3 are a novum too. Down one spot is “Elizabeth Taylor” (#4) by Taylor Swift. For the first time in the Top 5 is “Blame it on my broken heart” (#6) by Avery Anna.

For the country pop song German song “Fremdknutschen” (#6, “Snog someone else”) Anaïs had to drop out. “Opalite” (#7) by Taylor Swift and “I knew it, I know you” (#8) by Gracie Abrams are non-moving. Next in line are two new songs in this part. First to mention is izna with “SIGN” (#9). A bigger surprise is “Be alright” (#10) by IVE. They have tried six times before and failed to enter the Top 10. Last week it seemed that they would fail again, but in their 11th charting week the entered this part with “Be alright” (#10) which is easily their best song for me.

This week’s greatest gainer can be found outside the Top 50. It is “Monsters” (#57) by Ella Langley. “Monsters” climbed up 12 spots and is slowly rising. Two spots behind landed this week’s highest debut. It is “Blink” (#59) by Corbyn Besson & TZUYU. This song is different from the songs I’m normally listening to. So, it took them several attempts to get here. One spot behind YUQI got her solo debut with “Gone” (#60, Korean version). Both songs are ready to enter the Top 10 over the next weeks.
