Week 788 – April 3rd, 2026

This week’s chart didn’t saw a lot of speed despite of fact that I had 16 debuts. Zior Park defended the crown with “Dance alone” (#1). He is leading a pack of four non-moving songs. Still at the runner’s up spot is former #1 “To love somebody” (#2) by Holly Humberstone. Taylor Swift just dropped the official video for her song “Elizabeth Taylor” (#3) which is a homage to Elizabeth Taylor. The next non-moving song is “Daydream” (#4) by Wendy. Climbing back into the Top 5 is former #1 “Fremdknutschen” (#5, “Snog someone else”) Anaïs which left this part last week.

Up one spot an knocking heavily at the door to the Top 5 is country pop “Blame it on my broken heart” (#6) by Avery Anna from her debut album “Breakup over breakfast”. While Anaïs entered the Top 5 again Taylor Swift had to leave with her former #1 “Opalite” (#7). “I knew it, I know you” (#8) by Gracie Abrams did a step up as well as “Choosin’ Texas” (#9) by Ella Langley. Robbie Williams dropped another two spots with his Top 10 comeback single “All my life” (#10).

This week’s greatest gainer only climbed up 12 spots. It is Japanese Singer Ayane with her song “ごめんね” (#18, “I’m sorry”). This song is growing fast on me and could be the first song in Japanese entering my Top 10. I haven’t seen this coming and probable none of you which are following my chart.

The highest debut is by Austrian singer Esther Graf. She just released another song from her upcoming sophomore album. “Wie schön” (“How beautiful”) is in at #31 and should bring her into the Top 10 again. Two more songs debuted within my Top 50 this week. In at #44 is “Cruel world” by Holly Humberstone. This is the title track of her sophomore album. I really hope that both have good albums because I really like their debut ones. At #48 you can find the debut by Aiyana-Lee. Her chart debut is “Housebroken”. Although my English is a lot better than years ago, I haven’t heard this word before. Thanks to her I learned something new. 😊
