Week 797 – June 13th, 2026

Last week Jung Soyeon took over with “Moonlight” (#1) and it seems that this one will stay longer although there is one song in German that could end her run sooner or later. Holding its spot #2 is Japanese singer Ayane with “ごめんね“ (#2, “I’m sorry”). She will no one-hit-wonder for me as she debuts with her latest single in this week’s edition. “Dance alone” (#3) by Zior Park is completing the podium. This song is still one of the most successful songs from South Korea. Up two spots and into the Top 5 are “Dafür war es echt” (#4, “At least it was real”) by Esther Graf. This is the song I can see reaching the top spot. Also up two spots is “Now & then” (#5) by Knox.

Knox managed to nearly reach the Top 5 twice. His other Top 10 hit “She’s not okay” (#6). Down two spots is “Cruel world” (#7) by Holly Humberstone. Also on its way out is “Wie schön” (#8, “How beautiful”) by Esther Graf after dropping four spots. One spot down is former #1 “Daydream” (#9) by Wendy. For the first time in this part of the chart is “Esibizionista” (#10, “Exhibitonist”) by Italien Annalisa.

“Vicky Lynn” (#32) by Anouk got awarded with the greatest gainer of the week. This song climbed up 28 spots and should reach the Top 20 soon. The highest debut is by Japanese singer Ayane. Her latest single “キミがいないと” (#58, “Without you”) is catchy and from the musical style it is similar too her #1 hit. I like it and maybe some of you will give it a try. The second best debut is “Diary” (#74) by Shaun who had a Top 20 hit with “Way back home” (peaked at #11 for three weeks in 2018). I’m not sure it this song will do as well as “Way back home”, but it could be a possible outcome of this songs future as I really like it.
