Week 800 – July 4th, 2026

The school year is ending and as always there isn’t as much time to listen to music as I would like to have. So the top songs of the week aren’t moving. This means that Esther Graf is celebrating a 2nd chart topping week with “Dafür war es echt” (#1, “At least it was real”). Still in the hunt is “Moonlight” (#2) by Jung Soyeon which could climb back next week as there is no real concurrence. Former #1’s “ごめんね“ (#3, “I’m sorry”) by Ayane and “Dance alone” (#4) by Zior Park are completing the Top 4. New in the Top 5 is “Hit me where it hurts” (#5) by Elle Coves. Although I really like this one, I don’t see this song going all the way to the top. Maybe my thoughts change in the upcoming weeks, but I doubt it.

Up three spots is “Vicky Lynn” (#6) by Anouk. This song should enter the Top 5 soon. Down two spots and leaving the Top 5 is “Stay a little longer” (#7) by ROSÉ. On their way out of the Top 10 are both songs by US singer Knox. “Now & then” is down to #8 and “She’s not okay” to #9. These two songs are followed by Baby DON’T Cry and their hit song “I DON’T CARE” (#10).

The greatest gainer of the week is “Party” (#61) by Avery Anna which climbe3d up 16 spots. Nine spots behind you can find this week’s highest debut by South Korean singer GAEUL. This is her solo debut which can be found on her bands latest album “REVIVE+”. With IVE she had to leave the chart as “Bang bang” dropped out. On the other hand their single “Blackhole” (#89) also from “REVIVE+” entered the chart.

Other debuts are “Pirouetten” (#80, “Pirouettes) by Esther Graf, “1965” (#84), “Bad as the rest” (#85) all by Jessie Murph, “Secrets” (#91) by Miley Cyrus feat. Lindsey Buckingham & Mick Fleetwood, “ROCK THE BOAT” (#94) by XG, “Fall for you” (#96) by Emi Thasorn & Bonnie Pattraphus and “Always” (#97) by Parc Jae Jung & Sullyoon.
