Week 512 – December 19th, 2020

Another week at the top is Emma with her recent hit "Mascara" (#1). I really like this song more than expected and three weeks at the top isn't bad. Still in the hunt is "Lovesick girls" (#2) by Blackpink. Up one spot and into the Top 3 is "Vielleicht verliebt" (#3, "Maybe in love") by Leolixl. This song swapped spots with "Hot stuff" (#4) by Kygo & Donna Summer. New in the Top 5 is another song in Italian. This time it is "Tsunami" (#5) by Annalisa. As the top songs are older as usual the chance is for real for Annalisa to grab her 1st #1.

Directly behind you can find the 2nd Top 10 smash by Emma. Her single "Latina" (#6) dropped one spot. Also slipping down is "Midnight sky" (#7) by Miley Cyrus after last week's comeback climb. German rap singer badmómzjay is also doing well with her emotional single "Supernova" (#8). In its 2nd week in the Top 10 this song climbed up two spots and maybe it will continue its trend to end in the Top 5 by next week. For the first time in the Top 10 is "Heart won't let me" (#9) by LANY. For them this is another big hit from their new album "Mama's boy". This week's Top 10 is rounded out with "Macarena" (#10) by Austrian singer Ina Regen.

Last week LEA got the award for the greatest gainer for "Du tust es immer wieder" (#23, "You keep doing it"). This week she is awarded again, but for her other single "Schwarz" (#30) which also sprinted to #30. As most of you expected the highest debut is by Taylor Swift. Her single "Willow" (#43) just missed the Top 40, but should reach higher parts of the chart very soon. Directly behind German Antje Schomaker landed another Top 50 smash with her single "Verschwendete Zeit" (#44, "Wasted time").

Other debuts are "We could have it all" (#72) and "Happy" (#73) by Pink, "Lalalalalalalalalala" (#78) by Mikolas Josef, "Monsters" (#83) by All Time Low feat.
