Week 538 – June 19th, 2021

Last week I thought that there would be a big change in the Top 10 in this week's edition. In the end I hadn't really time to listen to music as much as I normally would. On the other hand watching the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship is also very nice so far. Hopefully Austria is doing better than against the Netherlands in the upcoming match up. So let's go back to the topic. LEA is definitely a winner with a 2nd week at the top with "Wenn nur Liebe hilft" (#1, "If only love could help"). Still behind is "Nuda" (#2, "Naked") by Annalisa. Up one spot is "Drei Uhr Nachts" (#3, "Three o' clock am") by Mark Forster & LEA. While this song climbed up one spot "I wü Di" (#4, "I want you") by Schwarzweiß had to drop one spot. New in the Top 5 is a newly release by Taylor Swift. Her song "You all over me" (#5) with Maren Morris climbed up three spots.

Not any longer in the Top 5 is "Ruf nicht mehr an" (#6, "Don't call anymore") by Vanessa Mai. This song only spent a single week in the Top 5. Also dropping one spot are "Genug" (#7, "Enough") by Mandy Capristo and "Drivers license" (#8) by Olivia Rodrigo. Still in the Top 10 although the signs are others are "Lass mich los" (#9, "Let me go") by Madeline Juno and "John Hughes movie" (#10) by Maisie Peters.

The award for the greatest gainer of the week goes as expected to Olivia Rodgrio's latest single "Good 4 U" (#14). This song climbed up 20 spots and is definitely in a position to enter the Top 10 in the next edition of my chart. While this song entered the Top 40 in its chart debuting week this week's highest debut just debuts outside the Top 50. It is the latest single by German Madeline Juno. Her song "Tu was du willst" (#51, "Do what you want") is another gem by her. I'm sure that this song will join her recent Top 10 smash within a few weeks and maybe this is another Top 3 hit for her.

Although I hadn't really time to listen to music there are 19 debuts. While Madeline Juno failed to enter the Top 50 by one spot the others only can found down the chart.
