Week 539– June 26th, 2021

Although there is a new #1 the week itself has been rather calm. New at the top is the German duet "Drei Uhr nachts" (#1, "Three o'clock am") by Mark Forster & LEA. This means that "Wenn nur Liebe hilft" (#2, "If only love could help") by LEA dropped one spot. Up two spots and new in the Top 3 is country pop by Taylor Swift. Her song with Maren Morris "You all over me" (#3) did this one last step to reach this part of the chart. Down two spots is former #1 "Nuda" (#4, "Naked") by Annalisa. This week sees a 2nd song by Taylor Swift in the Top 5. Her song "Mr. Perfectly fine" (#5) climbed up six spots to join the top songs of the chart.

Directly behind the 2nd new song in the Top 10 can be found. It is the newest smash by Olivia Rodrigo. Her single "Good 4 U" (#6) climbed up eight spots. This makes the Top 10 a little bit younger. Down three spots is Austrian band Schwarzweiß with their song "I wü Di" (#7, "I want you"). Each of the next three songs dropped two spots. These are "Ruf nicht mehr" (#8, "Don't call anymore") by Vanessa Mai, "Genug" (#9, "Enough") by Mandy Capristo and "Drivers licence" (#10) by Olivia Rodrigo.

The greatest gainer of the week is an album cut from Alanis Morissette's album "Such pretty forks in the road". "Sandbox love" (#41) climbed up 25 spots. As always this leads me to the highest debuts. This week only two new songs found their way to my chart. Both songs had been released as a regular single a while ago. I'm really infected by PRIZM' 80's sound and so "We were young" (#74) and "Can't bring me down" (#75) reached the chart.
