Week 633 – April 15th, 2023

Up one spot and now leading is “Ugly” (#1) by Dylan Conrique. It’s nice to see her at the top, but don’t count “Flowers” (#2) by Miley Cyrus out. 1986zig returns in the Top 3 with one of his recent singles. “Engel” (#3, “Angel”) climbed up one spot and swapped the spot with “Underwater” (#4) by Kwon Eun Bi. Holding its Top 5 spot is my country #1 “Carry me home” (#5) by Morgan Wade from her album “Reckless (Deluxe)”.

Holding their spots are the next two songs. The higher ranked one is former #1 “Nie wieder sehen” (#6, “Never see again”) by JuJu. The other one is “Sag nicht sorry” (#7, “Don’t say sorry”) by LEA. Reaching the Top 10 for the first time is “River” (#8). With this song Miley Cyrus has now two songs in this part of the chart. “River” is followed by the other new song in the Top 10 which is “Avalanche” (#9) by Avril Lavigne. “Like a saviour” (#10) by Ellie Goulding is rounding out this week’s Top 10.

Alexa Cappelli is awarded with the greatest gainer of the week after climbing up 42 spots with her single “Temporary” (#35). I haven’t seen such a big climb in a while. Let’s move on with the highest debut. This week it is a song from the Netherlands. I know what you all think, but it is no song by my favourite artist Anouk. It is “Pretty face” (#43) by SERA. This song is absolutely catchy, and it will definitely find its way into the higher part of the chart in the next weeks. The 2nd best debut a cover version of one of my all time favourite songs by Savage Garden. Their debut single back in 1996 “I want you” is bringing up memories. Now the cover version by Peking Duk feat. Darren Hayes is getting a proper start.
