Week 666 – December 2nd, 2023

This week shows my music statics at its best with a very low number of songs I listened to. On the other hand, there are several songs which climbed up the chart very fast. Still at the top – for now a third time – is “Easy” (#1) by Alexandra Kay. It’s not the only song holding its spot. In general, the Top 3 is stable. So you can find “Into your room” (#2) by Holly Humberstone in the hunt and “We’re not in love anymore” (#3) by Knox feat. Charlotte Sands rounding it out. Two songs are new in this part, but both artists can also be found in the Top 3. The higher ranked one is “Paint my bedroom black” (#4) by Holly Humberstone. The other one is “Man down” (#5) by Knox.

While Holly Humberstone and Knox are on the rise two songs had to leave the Top 5. “Sofia” (#7) by fiio dropped one spot and “Superbloodmoon” (#10) by Holly Humberstone feat. d4vd dropped five spots. Still knock at the door to the Top 5 is “Mr. Hypocrite” (#6) by Bellah Mae. Nice to see the two spot climb by Annalisa with “Ragazza sola” (#8). And last but not least, also holding its spot in the Top 10 is “Roses” (#9) by Kelly Clarkson.

For the first time a Christmas song is awarded with the greatest gainer of the week. It is “Christmas time again” (#60) by Nina Nesbitt. Her Christmas song climbed up 24 spots and hopefully it will reach the Top 50 soon. This week saw only two songs which are album cuts from “Denim & Rhinestone” by Carrie Underwood. She is debuting with “Wanted woman” (#89) and “Poor everybody else” (#90).
