Week 665 – November 25th, 2023

Last week Alexandra Kay scored her 1st week at the top with “Easy”. This week she defended the throne and got a 2nd week at the top. New concurrence is “Into your room” (#2) by Holly Humberstone which climbed up three spots and is trying to take over by next week. One spot down is former #1 “We’re not in love anymore” (#3) by Knox feat. Charlotte Sands. This one is leading a pack of three former #1’s. Next in line is the only one of these songs holding its spot. It is “Sofia” (#4) by fiio. The other one is “Superbloodmoon” (#5) by Holly Humberstone feat. d4vd.

Still knocking heavily at the door to the Top 5 is “Mr. Hypocrite” (#6) by Bellah Mae. Another step up the chart is made by “Paint my bedroom black” (#7) by Holly Humberstone who still has three songs in the Top 10. The next three songs can be found in the Top 10 for the first time. Knox, a recent favorite of mine, reached the Top 10 for the 2nd time in his career. His song “Man down” (#8) climbed up four spots. Returning to the Top 10 is Kelly Clarkson. Her song “Roses” (#9) climbed up two spots. And last but not least there is the Top 10 debut for “Ragazza sola” (#10). With this song Italian singer Annalisa is returning in this part of the chart.

As always, the information about the greatest gainer of week follows the information about the Top 10. This week three songs climbed up 13 spots to get awarded. The highest ranked one is “Versprich mir du gehst” (#28, “Promise me you’ll go“) by Madeline Juno x 1986zig. If this song is keeping this pace they’ll be found in the Top 10 very soon. The other ones are “Subject to change” (#58) by Kelsea Ballerini and “Five years” (#67) by Robyn Ottolini.

Unfortunately, there is no debut within the Top 50. The highest debut is by British singer Dylan. Her song “Rebel child” (#51) just failed this mark by one spot. I really like that she is back on my chart. Speaking about comebacks let’s welcome after a break Austrian band Wanda. Since their big hit “Columbo” back in 2017 their songs are mostly nothing for me. Their latest single – the first after the band member Christian Hummer died a year ago with only 32, after long and severe illness – brought them back. “Bei niemand anders” (“With no one else”) is a slower song and is in at #52. In my eyes this song should also bring them back into the charts and you’ll will find this song in the higher regions of my chart in the next weeks.
