Week 664 – November 18th, 2023

It took Alexandra Kay ten weeks with her actual single “Easy” (#1) to reach the top spot of the chart for the first time in her career. This makes “Easy” the 2nd country #1 this year following “Psychopath” (#38) earlier this year. “We’re not in love anymore” (#2) by Knox feat. Charlotte Sands dropped one spot and its reign ended after three weeks. Still at the podium, but one spot down is “Superbloodmoon” (#3) by Holly Humberstone feat. d4vd. Dropping out of the Top 3 is former #1 “Sofia” (#4) by fiio. Next in line is the highest new song in the Top 10. It is “Into the room” (#5) by Holly Humberstone who has now two songs in the Top 5 from her debut album “Paint my bedroom black”.

Directly behind is “Mr. Hypocrite” (#6) by Bellah Mae. I’m sure that this song has a chance to reach the Top 5. Leaving the Top 5 is “Care less” (#7) by LANY. The two former #1’s I predicted their leaving this part are still in it. The higher ranked one is “Du und L.A.” (#8, “You and L.A.”) by Clueso and the other one is  “Alles und mehr” (#9, “Everything and more”) by Tagtraeumer. And last but not least there is another new song in this part of the chart and it is one more song by Holly Humberstone. Her song “Paint my bedroom black” (#10) climbed up ten spots to reach this part.

The greatest gainer of the week reached the Top 20. It is “Penthouse” (#20) by Kelsea Ballerini after climbing up 24 spots. As always, the next information is about the highest debut. This week saw only one “high” debut because of the fact that all other debuts can only be found outside the Top 80. This week the highest debut is by Madeline Juno and 1986zig. Their song “Versprich mir du gehst” (#41, “Promise me you’ll go“) failed to enter the Top 40, but I believe that this song will climb up the chart very fast.
