Week 662 – November 4th, 2023

Knox and Charlotte Sands are holding the spot with “We’re not in love anymore” (#1). This isn’t the only song holding its spot in the Top 5. In fact, the complete podium can be found at the same spot as last week. So former #1’s “Superbloodmoon” (#2) by Holly Humberstone feat. d4vd and “Sofia” (#3) by fiio are still in the Top 3. New in the Top 5 is “Long story short” (#4) by Taylor Swift after climbing up two spots. Also new in this part of the chart is “Care less” (#5) by LANY.

This means that “The apology I’ll never receive” (#6) by RØRY’s dropped out. Next in line is the only new song in the Top 10. It is my current country #1 “Easy” (#7) by Alexandra Kay. For her it is the first time in the Top 10. Directly behind is “Runaway” (#8) by Pink. Rounding out this week’s Top 10 are two former #1’s. The higher ranked one is “Du und L.A.” (#9, “You and L.A.”) by German singer Clueso. The other one is “Alles und mehr” (#10, “Everything and more”) by Austrian band Tagtraeumer.

Holly Humberstone is ruling my chart with several songs from her debut album “Paint my bedroom black”. So, it is no surprise that one of these songs would be awarded with the greatest gainer. This week the award goes to “Kissing in swimming pools” (#41) which climbed up 11 spots. The highest debut just landed inside the Top 60 and is by Esther Graf. Hopefully her new single “Esther” (#59) is doing better than her previous single “Urlaub” (“Vacation”).
