Week 661 – October 28th, 2023

A new edition with a new #1 is on the start. For knox and Charlotte Sands it had been a good week after climbing to the top spot with “We’re not in love anymore” to get their 1st #1. Last week’s top song “Superbloodmoon” (#2) by Holly Humberstone feat. d4vd dropped after topping the chart for two weeks. Completing the podium is another former #1. “Sofia” (#3) by Austrian fiio is holding its spot. Next in line is RØRY’s “The apology I’ll never receive” (#4) which is giving her the first solo Top 5 hit. Down one spot but still in the Top 5 is “Runaway” (#5) by P!nk.

Taylor Swift is heavily knocking at the door to the Top 5 with “Long story short” (#6) after climbing up three spots. Als up three spots is “Care less” (#7) by LANY. In its 10th charting week and on its way out of the Top 10 is “Verletzen” (#8, “Hurting”) by Silbermond. And last but not least rounding out these week’s Top 10 are two former #1’s. The higher ranked one is “Du und L.A.” (#9) by Clueso. The other one is “Alles und mehr” (#10) by Tagtraeumer.

This week’s award for the greatest gainer of the week goes to Austrian fiio with his song “IDGAF” (#64). This song isn’t as good as his #1 song “Sofia” but I still like it. The highest debut is by Morgan Wade’s surprise release. Her single “Halloween” (#59) managed a debut within the Top 60 and her I have to point out that this single is much better than her regular ones since “Psychopath” (#21).
