Week 663 – November 11th, 2023

Once again the combo Knox and Charlotte Sands is topping the chart with their song “We’re not in love anymore” (#1). Still in the hunt are two former #1’s. At the runner’s up spot still be found is “Superbloodmoon” (#2) by Holly Humberstone feat. d4vd. Also not leaving the podium is “Sofia” (#3) by Alexandra Kay. Country #1 “Easy” (#4) by Alexandra Kay climbed up three spots. For her it is the first Top 5 hit. Holding its spot is “Care less” (#5) by LANY.

“Long story short” (#6) by Taylor Swift dropped two spots and had to leave the Top 5. Next in line is the only new song in the Top 10. It is “Mr. Hypocrite” (#7) by Bellah Mae which climbed up six spots. Down two spots is “The apology I’ll never receive” (#8) by RØRY. At the bottom of the Top 10 you find the same former #1’s as last week. So “Du und L.A.” (#9, “You and L.A.”) by Clueso and “Alles und mehr” (#10) by Tagtraeumer are rounding out this week’s Top 10.

The award for the greatest gainer of the week goes to “AQYNE” (#52) by Aitana & Danna Paola. Their song climbed up 30 spots and earned this award without a doubt. The highest debut is in eight spots above the greatest gainer of the week. It is by an unknown – at least for me – artist. Diamante scored her 1st hit with “1987” (#45). I should definitely give her older songs a chance, because I really don’t know any of her other songs.

Other debuts are “Houdini” (#72) by Dua Lipa, “Is it over now?” (#80) by Taylor Swift, “Subject to change” (#85) and “I can’t help myself” (#86) by Kelsea Ballerini, “Now and then” (#87) by The Beatles, “Teddy bear” (#90) by STAYC, “That’s what I get” (#91) by charlieonnafriday and “Meet your mama” (#98) by James Barker Band.
