Week 692 – June 1st, 2024

Welcome back to the review of my chart. It’s week 692 and Italian singer Annalisa is still rocking the chart with her song “Sinceramente” (#1, “Sincerely”). It outperformed “CLICK BOOM!” (#2) by Rose Villain – another Italian singer – for the 2nd time in a row. Also holding its spot in the Top 3 is “Contigo” (#3, “Without you”) by Karol G & Tiësto. Directly behind you can find the leatest single by one of my favourite Italian singer Emma. Her song “Apnea” (#5) climbed up one spot and swapped with former #1 “Killer” (#5) by FKA twigs.

“Un ragazzo una ragazza” (#6, “A boy a girl”) by The Kolors made a big step in this part of the chart, but here I’m not sure if they will reach the Top 5. Next in line is 80’s inspired “Hearts on the run” (#7) by Delta Goodrem. For her this is the best spot she ever received on my chart. This song is followed by Jennie’s “You & me” (#8) which is now in its 22nd week on chart. The following two songs are for the first time in the Top 10. Let’s welcome “Wunder” (#9, “Wonder”) by Ayliva x Apache 207 and “You” (#9) by Miley Cyrus.

This week “Chaos” (#57) by Lea x Dhurata Dora climbed up 18 spots and is the greatest gainer of the week. Another star from Germany is doing very well with the highest debut. It is “Good again” (#41) by Lena which is another single from her latest album “Loyal to myself”. It is the only song which debuted in the Top 50. The 2nd best debut is by Austrian singer AVEC. I bet that nobody outside Austria has noticed that she has released a new single with “It’s a problem” (#67). On my chart she has been present every now and then and she is best known for her #1 hit “Under water” which hit #1 back in 2018. This has also been her only Top 10 hit until today. You might ask why I point this out. For me this single has a real chance to enter the Top 20 at least, because it outperformed every other song from her which I charted since her #1. In my eyes you should definitely check this one out.
