Seven weeks in a row songs from Italy ruled the chart. “CLICK BOOM” (#2) by Rose Villain is still at the runner’s up position. Last week’s #1 “Sinceramente” (#3, “Yours sincerely”) by Annalisa dropped two spots after topping the chart for four weeks. This week Austrian band Tagtraeumer and singer Tina Naderer took over with their song “Jugendpoesie” (#1, “Youth poetry”). For Tina Naderer this is her 2nd #1. And again, she hasn’t done it solo, but I think her time will come. Up two spots is “Wunder” (#4, “Wonder”) by AYLIVA x Apache 207. This is higher than I expected this song to chart. Next in line is the highest ranked new song in the Top 10. It is “Narcissists” (#5) by TAELA which climbed up nine spots. Maybe this song will follow “Keep your demons” (#21) at the top spot.

Former #1 “Killer” (#6) by FKA twigs climbed up one spot in its 22nd week on chart. I doubt that this song will return to the Top 5, but who knows. Dropping three spots and falling out of the Top 5 is “Apnea” (#7) by Emma. Directly behind Zara Larsson is returning with her recent single “You love who you love” (#16). This is maybe not her best song, but I really love it. “You love who you love” climbed up eight spots to gain a spot in the Top 10. Then there is Tina Naderer again. This time with “Game over” (#9) which dropped one spot. “Contigo” (#10, “Without you”) by Karol G & Tiësto is rounding out this week’s Top 10 after dropping down five spots.

Last week Esther Graf was awarded with the greatest gainer of the week for her song “Star potential” (#54). This week she defended the award. This time her song “Ein Lied” (#27) got it after climbing up 17 spots. I think that she now has an abo for this award, because there is another single in the pipeline. She just has released another one with “Background check” which probably debut next week. This definitely answers your question you have never asked which act from my home country is my favourite. Esther Graf has done very well and you shouldn’t forget Tagtraeumer who just got another #1 with another Austrian singer (Tina Naderer).

For the highest debut you must look at the bottom of the chart. It is “Perfume” (#71) by Pale Waves. Their first single from their upcoming release “Smitten” – will be released in September – is a song I really like, but it is quite different to her singles from their previous album. The song has an 80’s influence and is compared to the The Cranberries’ work. I’m not sure if it will for me on the long run, but I hope so.

X” (#88) by TAEYEON, “Run back to you” (#89) by LAY & Lauv, “Fairy tale” (#91) by DADA, “Soft spot” (#94) by Emmaline, “Mugshot” (#96) by Huddy and “La reina” (#97) by Lola Indigo.
