Week 746– June 14th, 2025

 Eventually it happened. Nina Chuba’s run at the top ended. Her smash “Unsicher” (#2, “Insecure”) dropped one spot and swapped spot with “Hab ich dir je gesagt…” (#1, “Have I ever told you…”) by Madeline Juno. For her this is the 4th #1 and the 1st nearly one and a half year since she last had one with 1986zig. Her song is also the 5th song from Germany topping my chart this year and the 4th in German. Germans definitely have a run for now. Up two spots and landing in the Top 3 is “Where the mind goes” (#3) by Anouk. “Undressed” (#4) by Sombr is holding it spot while “Starcrossed” (#5) by Kings Elliot dropped two spots.

Next in line is non-moving “Twilight zone” (#6) by Ariana Grande. She is followed by Sarah Connor whose former #1 song “Heut’ ist alles gut” (#7, “Today everything is okay”) is also non-moving. Miley Cyrus managed to climb up one spot with “End of the world” (#8). The next two songs are new in this part. First to mention is Austrian singer Luna Antonia. Her single “Kurt Cobain” (#9) is her first Top 10 hit. Also new is the duet “With you” (#10) by Dean Lewis & Sofia Camara.

This week’s greatest gainer is by Tagtraeumer who just released their new album “Tiger im Park” (“Tiger in the park”). Her single “Nur dass du weißt” (#55, “Just so you know”) climbed up 22 spots. As always this leads to the highest debut. It is “Wilde Nächte” (#41, “Wild nights”) by Sarah Connor. The debut shows the I really like this more than “FICKA” and in my eyes this song has all the potential to end within the Top 10 at least. The 2nd best debut has be released nearly a year ago, but I just discovered this song. It is “Weißt du” (#54, “Do you know”) by Rowli. With this song he samples 1993 hit “Two princes” by Spin Doctors. I like it, but I’m not sure how long it will last on my chart as I love the original.

Other debuts are “Schief in jedem Chor” (#60, “Off-key in every chor”) by Kraftklub, “Everything you do” (#61) by The Happy Fits, “Manchild” (#76) by Sabrina Carpenter, “Blonde” (#86) by Sunday (1994), “Wimpernschlag” (#87, “Blink of an eye”) by Max Wiesinger & Johannes Oerding, “Doin’ my best” (#89) and “Marilyn” (#90) by Kelsea Ballerini, “Trojaner” (#95, “Trojan”) by MIA MARA, “Dumb” (#96) by Mandy Rose, “Alles Illusion” (#97, “Everything illusion”) by Laela and “Unsichtbar” (#98, “Invisible”) by Kauta.
