Week 744– May 31st, 2025

My chart is gettinger younger and younger, but the #1 is still the same. Nina Chuba is leading the pack once again with “Unsicher” (#1). She just released another single which had been a little too late for this edition, but sure will debut next week. Right behind is “Hab ich dir je gesagt…” (#2, “Have I ever told you…”) by Madeline Juno whose latest single gives its debut in this week’s edition. Also non moving are “Starcrossed” (#3) by Kings Elliot and “Undressed” (#4) by Sombr. For the first time in the Top 5 is another fresh young song. It is “Twilight zone” (#5) by Ariana Grande which climbed up one spot.

Losing one spot is former #1 “Heut’ ist alles gut” (#6, “Today everything is okay) by Sarah Connor who is actually promoting her new album “Freigeistin” (“Free spirit”). Anouk is climbing up with her song “Where the mind goes” (#7) which has absolutely the chance to become her 1st Top 5 hit in a while. Another non-moving song is “Hals über Kopf” (#8, “Head over heels”) by Jacob Elias. Up one spot is “End of the world” (#9) by Miley Cyrus. Gracie Abrams returns to this part with her song “Risk” (#10)

In its 7th charting week “Hello stranger” (#44) by Kwon Eun Bi is the greatest gainer of the week after climbing up 12 spots. Directly behind you can find the highest debut. It is the 3rd single “Set this thing on fire” by Anouk. Here I believe that this one could be a #1 song. It could be her 20th #1 hit – she had 17 #1’s between 2011 and 2017 – and the first since 2020 when “I love you” topped the chart for six weeks. One spot behind you can find the 2nd highest debut which is “East coast” (#46) by Morgan Wade. I absolutely love this one and it should go up the chart very fast. One more song landed in the Top 50. It is 1950’s inspired song “Who knew dancing was a sin” (#49) by Elliot James Reay. This one easily outperformed his other chart songs. Missing the Top 50 by two spots is Felicia Lu with her latest single “Woman” (#52) which is dedicated to her mom.
