Week 776 – January 10th, 2026

 Swapping spots are the Top 2 songs of the chart. This means that Jessie Murph scores her 1st #1 with “I’m not there for you” while last week’s top song “Eyes closed” (#2) by Jisoo & Zayn dropped one. Holding its spot at the podium is former #1 “The fate of Ophelia” (#3) by Taylor Swift. “Unsterblich sein” (#4, “Be immortal”) by Kraftklub feat. Domiziana is holding its spot too. New in the Top 5 is “Gommapiuma” (#6, “Foam rubber”) by Annalisa.

“Gommapiuma” replaced “Mittelfinger an die Welt” (#2, “Middle finger to the world”) by Paula Engels in the Top 5. Next in line is the highest new song in the Top 10. It is another song by Italian singer Annalisa. Her song “Aria” (#7, “Air”) climbed up six spots. It is followed by Esther Graf with her song “Wieso” (#8, Why”). Sophia and the Giants reached the Top 10 with the song “Loser” (#9). Also new is Crash Adams with “New heart” (#10). For them it is their first Top 10 hit.

Sprinting up the chart is “I knew it, I know you” (#22) by Gracie Abrams. This song got the award for the greatest gainer after climbing up 27 spots. Nearly ten spots behind you can find this week’s highest debut. It is “Opalite” (#31) by Taylor Swift. this song reached the Top 10 in multiple charts and now it entered my chart. I’m sure that this song will do very well on my chart too. The 2nd best debut is by German Indie Pop band JEREMIAS. They are releasing singles since 2018 and their biggest hit had been “Meer” (“Sea”) back in 2024. On my chart they failed to enter until this week’s edition. Their song “Leicht” (#46, “Easy”) is very interesting and I can see this song rising in the near future. Directly behind the 3rd best debut can be found. It is the 2nd single by Sportfreunde Stiller from their upcoming album. “Ti amo, Italiano! (#47, “I love you, Italian!”) is a lightweight song and fits very well with song as “Disco mare” (#44, “Disco sea”) and “Blu” (#45, “Blue”) by Luca Vasta.
