Week 534 – May 22th, 2021

Another week has gone by and "Nuda" (#1, "Naked") is still at the top. This week there is a new song at the runner's up spot. It is the German song "Genug" (#2, "Enough") by Mandy Capristo. This song swapped the spot with former #1 "Drivers license" (#3) by Olivia Rodrigo. Maisie Peters song "John Hughes movie" (#4) didn't move while Austro pop "I wü di" (#5, "I want you") by Schwarzweiß climbed up 3 spots.

For this song "Lass mich los" (#6, "Let me go") by Madeline Juno had to leave the Top 5. I really like this one, but her song "Über dich" (#21, "Over you) was definitely better. Dropping one spot down are former #1 "OK love you bye" (#7) by Olivia Dean and "Angels like you" (#8) by Miley Cyrus. New in this section is another song from LEA's album "Treppenhaus" ("Stairway"). "Wenn nur Liebe hilfe" (#9, "If only love could help") climbed up 10 spots. Another one spot dropper is "Allein" (#10, "Alone") by Gestört Aber GeiL.

The greatest gainer of the week is "You all over me" (#36) by Taylor Swift feat. Maren Morris. Most of the debuts are influenced by this week's Eurovision song contest. The highest three debuts are from this year's San Remo Festival is "Chiamami per nome" (#66, "Call me by name") by Francesca Michielin & Fedz. This song outperformed in its 1st charting week "Dieci" (#67, "Ten") by Annalisa. As you all know that I'm a fan of Annalisa you can be sure that this one will do better in the next weeks. "Chiamami per nome" also did better than the winner of this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Winning song "Zitti e buoni" (#68, "Shut up and be quiet") by Måneskin got a solid debut and maybe it will do better in the next weeks.
