Week 671 – January 6th, 2024

What do I care about my chatter from yesterday? This week “Versprich mir du gehst” (#1, “Promise me you’ll go”) by Madeline Juno x 1986zig climbed up two spots and took over. This I definitely haven’t seen coming. Still holding its spot is “Ragazza sola” (#2, “Lonely girl”) by Annalisa while last week’s #1 “AQYNE” (#3) dropped two spots and swapped the spot with this week’s new #1. Next in line is “Bei niemand anders” (#4, “With no one else”) by Wanda. This is their first Top 5 hit in a while. Also new in the Top 5 is “Euforia” (#5, “Euphoria”) by Annalisa who has now two songs in this part of the chart.

Dropping two spots is “Into your room” (#6) by Holly Humberstone. Diamante are on their way to repeat the “Mr. Hypocrite” (#18) by Bellah Mae as their song “1987” (#7) is holding its spot one more week. These songs are followed by four former #1’s. The highest ranked one is “Easy” (#8) by Alexandra Kay. This one is followed by “We aren’t in love anymore” (#9) by Knox feat. Charlotte Sands and “Superbloodmoon” (#10) by Holly Humberstone feat. d4vd.

Although there can be found 18 new songs in this week’s chart edition there is only little movement. The award for the greatest gainer of the week is shared by three songs. The highest ranked one is “Freezing” (#15) by Mimi Webb. The other ones are “Lost indieboy” (#38) by Antje Schomaker and “I kissed you boyfriend” (#39) by Robyn Ottolini. As there is such a massive amount of debuts the highest ones landed in the Top 20. Singer Jennie from Blackpink returned with her latest single “You & me” (#16). Directly behind is the 2nd highest debut by Leigh-Anne feat. Ayra Starr with “My love” (#18). For Leigh-Anne this is her 2nd single, and her chart debut, after Little Mix has gone on hiatus.
