Week 732 – March 8th, 2025

Antje Schomaker and Eva Briegel are still sitting at the top of the chart with their smash “Irgendwohin” (#1, “Somewhere”). This week the reign almost come to an end, but Madeline Juno’s “Reservetank” (#2, “Reserve tank”) and Leslie Clio’s “Just friends” (#3) failed to do the last step. New in the Top 5 is another song with Madeline Juno. “In anderen Armen” (#3, “In other arms”) where she sings with Austrian singer Ness climbed up four spots. After climbing up in the Top 2 again last week “That’s so true” (#5) by Gracie Abrams dropped three spots in this week’s edition.

Knox had to leave the Top 5 with his song “Love letter” (#6). Maybe it is time to say goodbye for this one in the Top 10. Directly behind you can find the only new song in this part of the chart. In its 3rd charting week German band ok.danke.tschüss climbed up four spots to get their first Top 10 appearance with their first chart hit “Was passiert” (#7, “What happens”). Down two is former #1 “Number one girl” (#8) by ROSÉ. Holding its spot is “Hypnotized” (#9) by Anyma feat. Ellie Goulding. Rounding out this week’s Top 10 is “Baby tu” (#10, “Baby you”) by Luca Vasta which could be the songs last week in the Top 10 as there are some with a real go chance to enter this part next week.

Two songs climbed up 12 spots which is all needed for being awarded with the greatest gainer of the week. The highest ranked one by German band COSBY with their song “Crazy” (#23). The other one is “Butterfly effect” (#33) by Madeline Juno. This leads me to the highest debut. In such a short time a I’ve now another debut within the Top 20. This time it is by German star Sarah Connor who started her career back in 2000 with the song “Let’s get back to bed – boy!” with a feature by TQ. Since her 1st #1 “From Sarah with love” a year later she is among the most female singer in Germany. Since releasing her 9th album back in 2015 she is singing in German and had some major hits on my chart. “Alles in mir will zu dir” (peaked at #5 in 2021) and “Stark” (peaked at #9 in 2021) ended in the Top 10. Now she released another song. “Heut’ ist alles gut” (#16, “Today everything is okay”) easily debuted in the Top 20. This song has everything for me to end in the Top 10. Everything else can’t be predicted for the moment.
