Week 735 – March 29th, 2025

I’m still struggling a little bit with my health, but nevertheless there are a several debuts and the Top 10 had been shaken up. Up six spots to the #1 for the first time in her career is Sarah Connor. Her song “Heut’ ist alles gut” (#1, “Today everything is okay”) isn’t the typical song reaching #1 on my chart, but I really love this song and its message. Up five spots is another song from Germany. It is “Augenblick” (#2, “Moment”) by 01099. For them “Augenblick” is their first Top 3 hit with their 1st solo appearance. I really doubt that they will repeat this success in the future because this isn’t their usual style, but who knows. Down two spots is last week’s #1 “Just friends” (#3) by Leslie Clio. Also down is former #1 “Irgendwohin” (#4, “Somewhere”) by Antje Schomaker feat. Eva Briegel. Holding its spot is “Was passiert” (#5, “What happens”) by ok.danke.tschüss.

The German song collection at the top of the chart continues with “Reservetank” (#6, “Reserve tank”) by Madeline Juno and “In anderen Armen” (#7, “In other arms”) by NESS & Madeline Juno. On the last track Austria is represented too. These songs are followed by COSBY’s “Crazy” (#8) which eventually entered the Top 10 for the first time. The first song which isn’t from Germany/Austria is former #1 “That’s so true” (#9) by Gracie Abrams. Up one spot is “No strings” (#10) by Absnt Mind which is now their first Top 10 hit.

Last week Ella Langley was awarded with the greatest gainer for two songs. This week her song “Love you tonight” (#36) climbed up 20 spots and got the award in back-to-back weeks. Not far behind you can find this week’s highest debut which is by Austrian singer Felicia Lu. Back in 2022 she had her biggest hit on chart with “Anxiety” which peaked at #23. Now she returned with “Someone else” at #43. For the moment I see this song reaching the Top 10 soon. Hopefully this one will be her first chart hit in Austria since 2016.
