60		no success	B*Witched - Love and money Points: 888.0 Peak: #9 Weeks: 15 Album: Champagne or Guinness EP Back in October 2013 B*Witched released their comeback single. In January I descovered this song and it debuted nearly outside the Top 30. At the begining of March "Love and money" reached its peak. It has been a nice comeback single, but the EP is weak.
59		no success	Emmelie de Forest - Drunk tonight Points: 895.6 Peak: #15 Weeks: 17 (still charting) Album: - With "Only raindrops" Emmelie de Forest won the Eurovision Song Contest in the year before Conchita Wurst. "Drunk tonight" is her strongest song she released since she won this contest. Unfortunately she couldn't reach the Top 10 with this song.
58		#1 #1 #2	Andreas Bourani - Auf uns Points: 900.3 Peak: #9 Weeks: 17 Album: Hey During the FIFA World Cup I believe that there had only been two songs on the radio. The first one had been Helene Fischer's "Atemlos durch die Nacht" ("Breathless through the night" - This song is now in its 55th week in the Austrian Top 40 and missed my Top 100). The other one had been Andrea Bourani's "Auf uns" ("To us"). Both had come along with the German football national team. "Auf uns" is very catchy and brings over a certain sense of community.
57		#10 #15	Melissa Steel feat. Popcaan - Kisses for breakfast Points: 902.5 Peak: #13 Weeks: 17 Album: - Melissa Steel had her breakout this year. She was featured on three singles. The last one "I loved you" recently reached Top 10. "Kisses for breakfast" had been her first solo single and is very different to this dance single. This song is a more typical Reaggae song which gave her the first Top 20 hit.
56		no success	Macy Kate - You gave me love Points: 906.8 Peak: #15 Weeks: 18 Album: - She parciticipated on the US Version of "Rising star" this year. Beside this participation she released the single "You gave me love" which is well produced and mostly overlooked. I hope there will be some more good songs by her in the future.
55		no success	Tagträumer - Schwerelos Points: 909.0 Peak: #12 Weeks: 18 Album: - This Austrian band had its breakout this year during a casting show. "Schwerelos" (Weightless") had been the 2nd single following there #1 hit "Sinn". Although it is a good song this is their only song up-to-date which missed the Top 10 in the end. "Sinn" and "Mein Herz (für immer)" are ranked higher in this countdown.
54		no success	Kristina Maria - Bang U up Points: 923.0 Peak: #5 Weeks: 14 Album: - Canadian singer Kristina Maria has some up and downs on my chart. "Bang U up" had been her first Top 10 hit early this year. As her following singles flopped on my chart I hope she can came around with another song like "Bang U up".
53		no success	Satin Circus - If you love mePoints: 934.6 Peak: #1 (one week) Weeks: 22 Album: Expectations Back in 2013 Finnish band Satin Circus had its breakout. The unforgettable "Emma" is still very catchy. Then there had been "If you love me". In 2013 this song finish at #61 in my year-end review. This year they climbed up eight spots. In a total they collected more than 1700 points which could have brought them near the Top 10.
52		#1 #1 #1	Cro - Traum Points: 940.4 Peak: #7 Weeks: 15 Album: Melodie Here is another highley anticipated German song. A rapper with pop songs can not be found very often. Cro is that kind of rapper. He has the ear for good melodies and "Traum" ("Dream") is no exception. Although I hadn't paid a lot of attention to him in the past this song reached very fast my Top 10 where it stayed five weeks.
51		no success	Nick Howard - Can't break a broken heart Points: 941.5 Peak: #8 Weeks: 17 Album: Living in stereo I can't believe that the German's voted him as winner of "The Voice of Germany" and then they didn't pay attention to him. "Can't break a broken heart" is such a great song and absolutely the right choice for a single. Maybe he has been a little bit late with the whistling part, but who cares? I don't care and promoted him directly into the Top 10.

70		#59 #42 #14 #31 #71 #39 #14	Christina Perri - Human Points: 833.7 Peak: #10 Weeks: 17 Album: Head or heart This one is among my favourites by her. Her biggest hit had been "Jar of hearts" which peaked at #7 in February 2012. "Human" almost reached this peak two years later.
69		#100 #18 #55 #16	Jessie J - Thunder Points: 847.3 Peak: #9 Weeks: 16 Album: Alive Jessie J has changing success on my chart. She had several big hits since her debut with "Do it like a dude", a song I never charted. Some of her songs easily entered my Top 10 with "Domino" has been her only #1 so far. Some peaked low and others not even reached my chart like her last single "Masterpiece". "Thunder" is among her better songs.
68		#33	Cris Cab - Loves me not Points: 847.5 Peak: #10 Weeks: 14 Album: Where I belong In February Cris Cab entered the Austrian Top 40 with his "Liar liar" which had minor success on my chart. He did better with "Loves me not" the 3rd single from his debut album "Where I belong". Although debuted within the Top 20 "Loves me not" peaked at #10 for a single week.
67		no success	Matt Cardle - Empire Points: 861.0 Peak: #9 Weeks: 16 Album: The fire Here is the next one by my favourite male singer. "Empire" hasn't been released as a regular single. In February this song debuted low, but in April "Empire" reached its peak.
66		#65 #50	Taylor Swift - I almost do Points: 863.8 Peak: #9 Weeks: 16 Album: Red Another gem from Taylor Swift's "Red" album. This album produced six Top 10 hits and two topped the chart. "I almost do" hadn't been a chart topper, but this one is a very good song and deserves his spot in the Top 10.
65		#1	Ace Wilder - Busy doin' nothin Points: 866.9 Peak: #10 Weeks: 14 Album: - Every year there is a hit out of the Eurovision Song Contest. This special song hasn't been voted to Copenhagen from Sweden. In the Swedish charts the sweetest lazy song outperformed their contest song easily. Very fast this song with its heavy beat and the stamp one's feet factor climbed into the Top 10. Interesting fact at this point of the review. Last year Austrian's Eurovision Song Contest entry "Shine" by Natália Kelly also reached #65 in the year-end review.
64		#83	Amelia Lily - California Points: 870.6 Peak: #14 Weeks: 17 Album: - Amelia Lily is a very talented singer who took part in X-Factor UK. After her elimination she released three singles for an album called "Be a fighter" which has been cancelled later. This year she tried it again with "California". I really like this song, but the video is crap.
63		no success	Tone Damli - Heartkill Points: 873.4 Peak: #9 Weeks: 15 Album: Heartkill EP "Looking back" had been her biggest success on my chart back in 2012. This song peaked at #12 and reached #83 in the year-end settlement. "Heartkill" had been the 2nd single out of her "Heartkill EP" and did better than her heartbreaking "Winner of a losing game".
62		#4 #58 #4	Professor Green feat. Tori Kelly Points: 884.4 Peak: #16 Weeks: 18 Album: Growing up in Public I often stated out that rap isn't the favourite kind of music I'm listing. Therefore Professor Green had no chart hit before "Lullaby". With the help of US singer Tori Kelly "Lullaby" is now his and her first chart hit.
61		no success	Nick Howard - Dancing as one Points: 887.2 Peak: #7 Weeks: 12 (still charting) Album: Living in stereo After his win of the German version of the Voice there was silence around him. The release of "Living in stereo" has been largely ignored. "Dancing as one" is Nick Howard's latest single out of this album. With this one he outperformed his smash "Can't break a broken heart" which can be found later in this review.
