Week 526 – March 27th, 2021

Now it is done. There is an Olivia double pack at the top. Last week's #1 is still at the top. So "OK love you bye" (#1) by Olivia Dean can celebrate the 2nd week at the top. Up two spots is "Drivers license" (#2) by Olivia Rodrigo. I really can't believe that I now love this song so much. Especially when I think of the fact that I won't chart this song at first. Down one spot are two former #1's. First to mention is "Allein" (#3, "Alone") by Gestört Aber GeiL feat. Tina Naderer. The other one is "Schwarz" (#4, "Black") by LEA. For the first time within the Top 5 is MOD SUN. For me it definitely helped that he is featuring Avril Lavigne on his song "Flames" (#5).

Dropping out of the Top 5 is "Über dich" (#6, "Over you") by Madeline Juno. Next in line is the highest ranked song in Italian. It is "Non c'è più musica" (#7, "There is no more music") by Mr. Rain feat. Birdy. This song is followed by the highest ranked country song "I would've loved you" (#8) by Jake Hoot feat. Kelly Clarkson. So there are two duets in a row. New in the Top 10 is the album track "Souvenir" (#9) by Selena Gomez from her "Rare"-album. Rounding out this week's Top 10 is "Willow" (#10) by Taylor Swift.

Maisie Peters finally had some international success with her recent single "John Hughes movie" (#44). In its 2nd week on chart this song climbed up 17 spots and is awarded for the greatest gainer of the week and I hope this continues. The highest debut is Aitana's single "11 razones" (#73, "11 reasons"). It is a nice song and maybe this one brings her back into the Top 10. The 2nd best debut is another song by her, but "No te has ido y ya extraño no" (#74, "You didn't leave and I miss you already") is only an album track.
