I've not been sure about lifting "Tu was du willst" (#1, "Do what you want") to the top, but with this week Madeline Juno
is returning to the top for a 2nd time this year. She earned success
with "Über dich" ("Over you") which spent three weeks at the top earlier
this year. This is now the 14th week of the year when a song in German
stayed at #1. "Tu was du willst" is followed by "Schwarz" (#2, "Black")
by LEA & Casper. Now I really believe that the same song in two different versions is topping my chart within a year. While Madeline Juno took the last step Alanis Morissette's "Sandbox love" (#3) dropped two spots. The best male solo act at the moment is Ed Sheeran. His song "Bad habits" (#4) is holding its spot in this week's Top 10. Up for spots and into the Top 5 are German DJ Ninja POW! and German singer Franzi Harmsen
who is taking my chart by storm with now four song which can be found
in this week's edition. Their cover song "Du trägst keine Liebe in Dir"
(#5, "You carry no love in you") climbed up four spots.
Just outside the Top 5 is "Psycho" (#6) by Maisie Peters.
I really like her recent songs and maybe she is breaking into the Top 5
with this song too. Next in line is another of the powerful German
songs. It is "Alles in mir will zu dir" (#7, "Everything in me wants to
you") by Sarah Connor. This song outperformed two former #1's which dropped in this week's edition. "Good 4 U" (#8) by Olivia Rodrigo dropped three spots while "Mr. perfectly fine" (#9) by Taylor Swift
dropped two spots. This week's Top 10 is rounded out with the only new
song in this part of the chart. "Movimento lento" (#10, "Slow movement")
by Annalisa feat. Federico Rossi climbed up one spot to reach this notable spot.
No surprise for me and maybe for those who are following my chart is the highest ranked song. It is the latest single by LEA.
Her song "Wenn du mich lässt" (#36, "If you let me") is a slower song
then her other songs from "Treppenhaus", but I this non-album single is
growing on me with just a few listens. Not far behind you can find the
greatest gainer of the week as well as the 2nd best debut. Both songs
are from the same artist. The award for the greatest gainer goes for the
2nd time in a row to Franzi Harmsen's "Zweieinhalb Sekunden"
(#38, "Two and a half seconds"). And the 2nd best debut his her latest
single "Nie mehr" (#39, "No more").
