Week 646 – July 15th, 2023

This week Morgan Wade took over with the title track of her new album. “Psychopath” (#1) climbed up one spot and forced “Favorite kind of high” (#2) by Kelly Clarkson back to the runners-up spot. Still at the podium is five time #1 “Temporary” (#3) by Alexa Cappelli. In total “Psychopath’s” climb had been the only change in the Top 5. Therefore both songs by Pale Waves “Without you” (#4) and “Only problem” (#5) didn’t move.

Just outside the Top 5 landed one of two new songs in the Top 10. It is “Through your eyes” (#6) by Morgan Wade. This brings her now two songs in the Top 10. Next in line are two songs which dropped one spot each. The higher ranked one is “Talk to me” (#7) by Mina Okabe. The other one is “Dive” (#8) by Olivia Dean. These are followed by the other Top 10 debut which is “Exes” (#9) by Esther Graf. Rounding out this week’s Top 10 is “Renn zurück” (#10, “Run back”) by Esther Graf & Fourty.

Climbing up the chart very fast is “The very first night” (#41) by Taylor Swift which is an album cut from “Red (Taylor’s version)”. This song climbed up 23 spots and is awarded with the greatest gainer of the week. The highest debut is “Die besten Dinge” (#72, “The best things”) by Juli who had their comeback last year. Now the return with a solid track, but here I’m not sure if this one will lead them back to the Top 20. Other debuts are “80’s movie” (#80) by Morgan Wade, “I want” (#81) by IVE, “God must be mad at me” (#82), “Homesick” (#83) and “Zero trucks” (#84) all by Alana Springsteen.
