Week 675 – February 3rd, 2024

Annalisa is still topping the chart with her hit “Euforia” (#4, “Euophria”). This isn’t her longest running #1, but the end is near. Korean singer Jennie climbed up one spot with her song “You & me” and swapped the spot with “Bei niemand anders” (#3, “With no one else”) by Wanda. “You and me” should end Annalisa’ run and KPOP should take over for the 2nd time in history. The rest of the Top 5 is holding its spot. Non-moving are “Versprich mir du gehst” (#4, “Promise me you’ll go”) by Madeline Juno x 1986zig and “Ragazza sola” (#5, “Lonely girl”) by Annalisa.

Also on the non-moving side is “AQYNE” (#6) by Aitana & Danna Paola. Up one spot is the album cut “Thousand miles” (#7) by Miley Cyrus feat. Brandi Carlile. I still hope that this one will be regular single in the future. Next in line is “My love” (#8) by Leigh-Anne feat. Ayra Starr which also climbed up one spot. There is one more song climbing up one spot. It is “Disco Paradise” (#9) by Fedez, Annalisa & Articolo 31. Dropping three spots and on its way out of the Top 10 is “Freezing” (#10) by Mimi Webb.

My favorite artist Anouk is doing very well with the single “Are you done running” (#26) from her concept album “Deena & Jim”. I like both the album and the single, but for me this album is on the weaker side with some highlights on it. After climbing up 13 spots in this week’s edition she should reach the Top 20 by next week. This week’s highest debut is by Canadian Ali Gatie. He just dropped his song “Everything I wanted” (#48). Sure, the debut isn’t very great. On the other hand, I see a promising future for this song. It is the only debut within the Top 50.
