Week 805 – August 8th, 2026

For the 6th time this year and for the 3rd consecutive week with “キミがいないと” (#1, “Without you”) is Ayane topping the chart. Last week I had my doubts that it will top for another week, but here we are. Still in the hunt are former #1’s “Vicky Lynn” (#2) by Anouk and “Dafür war es echt” (#3, “At least it was real”) by Esther Graf. Into the Top 5 is “Look at my life” (#4) by Gracie Abrams which has a good chance to top the chart next week. Holding its spot in the Top 5 is “Moonlight” (#5) by Jung Soyeon.

Dropping out of this part is “Pfeil und Bogen” (#4, “Bow and arrow”) by Mathea after only one week in the Top 5. Up three spots is “Dance alone” (#7) by Zior Park which rounded out the Top 10 for the last two weeks. Next in line are three new songs in this part of the chart. “Hit the wall” (#8) by Gracie Abrams eventually did this last step. It is followed by Australian G Flip with “Bed on fire” (#9). For G Flip this is the first time in the Top 10. Mathea finally entered this part with her recent single “Einfach nichts” (#10, “Nothing at all”).

The award for the greatest gainer of the week goes bo Dasha’s “Gimmie a second” (#62) after climbing up 16 spots in its 4th charting week. After two weeks with debuts within the Top 50 there is none in this edition. The highest one is “Indigo” (#56) by German singer Madeline Juno. This one is from her follow up album “Anomalie Pt. 2”. Two spots behind Japanese girl band CIRRA gave its debut with “Always” (#58).

Other debuts are “Hot girl summer” (#80) by Naomi Lareine, “To the sea” (#85) by Ha Yea Song – this one is a cover of a Korean AI Song which had been released back in 2022 –, “Memo” (#87) by Dasha, “Great expectation” (#88) by Sienna Spiro, “Butterfly doors” (#89) by AtHeart, “Müde Träume” (#94, “Tired dreams”) by Cosima Kiby, “Normal” (#95) by BTS, “Waited too long” (#96) by Onoleigh and “Perfect love” (#97) by Blue.D feat. BE’O.
