Week 807 – August 22nd, 2026

 Gracie Abrams defended the crown with “Look at my life” (#1). For this week this had been an easy decision. Holding its spot – one of only two in the Top 10 – is “キミがいないと” (#2, “Without you”) by Ayane. Up five spots is YUNA. Her solo debut “Ice cream” (#3) is now at the podium and ready for more. On the other hand I’m not sure if it will do this one last step. Only time will tell. The other song which is non-moving in this week’s Top 10 is “Moonlight” (#4) by Jung Soyeon. “Moonlight” is a big concurrence for “Dance alone” (#11) by Zior Park for my #1 hit of 2026. Australian singer G Flip is also new in the Top 5 with “Bed on fire” (#5).

“LEMONADE” (#6) by aespa failed to enter the Top 5, but here I think it’s only a matter of time. Next in line are two songs from my home country Austria. First to mention is “Einfach nichts” (#7, “Nothing at all”) by Mathea. The other one is former #1 “Dafür war es echt” (#8, “At least it was real”) by Esther Graf. Both songs are on their way out of this part. Especially “Dafür war es echt” which dropped five spots this week. New in the Top 10 is the next one. It is “Lemon tang” (#9) by Hearts2Hearts. For them it is their 1st Top 10 hit out of three chart appearances. Down five spots and rounding out the Top 10 is former #1 “Vicky Lynn” (#10) by Anouk.

For the greatest gainer of the week and the highest debut you have to look down the chart. This week the award for the greatest gainer goes to country pop “When we were friends” (#68) by Alana Springsteen which climbed up 14 spots. 12 spots behind the highest debut can be found. It is “Märchen” (#80, “Fairy tell”) by Alice Stark formally know as Alies. Other debuts are “Mit anderen Augen (#81, “With different eyes”) by Cosima Kiby, “ライアーヴェール” (#83, “Lyre veil”) by ZAQ – which is an anime theme song, “Cool” (#88), “Free now” (#89), “Good luck Charlie” (#90) all by Gracie Abrams, “Heal” (#93) by Monsta X, “Sip” (#95) by THX feat. Ja Nongpanee, “Momentum” (#96) by Moon Byul, “Backseat” (#97) by SOMIN and “Sugarcoated” (#98) by Melissa Minh.
