Mabel – Don’t call me up

Points: 1567.1
Peak: #3
Weeks: 21
Album: Ivy to roses (mixtape)
Airplay: #15

In 2019 British-Swedish singer Mabel had her breakthrough with "Don’t call me up" although she had a Top 10 hit with "Finders keepers" back in 2017 in her pocket. This song caught immediately my attention and eventually peaked at #3 in March.

Clara Mae – Loved you once

Points: 1573.2
Peak: #3
Weeks: 22
Album: Drunk on emotions EP
Airplay: #46

First released as a demo and later as a regular single Clara Mae did another good job. Surely "Sorry for writing all the songs about you" reached #1 in 2018/19, but with this song she nearly reached the #1 again. This song eventually peaked at #3 in September for two weeks.

Pink feat. Cash Cash – Can we pretend

Points: 1691.16
Peak: #1 (2)
Weeks: 17 (still charting)
Album: Hurts 2B human
Airplay: #91

"Can we pretend" is maybe not a typical Pink song, but I like it very much. I liked it so much that this song reached #1 in October and stayed there for two weeks. On my chart this has been another big hit for her and another #1 hit from her can be found in this list.

Parov Stelar feat. Nikki Williams – Trouble

Points: 1691.19
Peak: #4
Weeks: 26
Album: -
Airplay: #12

The next song in the list has been only 0.03 points better than the #1 smash "Can we pretend" and it comes from Austrian DJ Parov Stelar. I’m not the biggest fan from him, but with this song he found a way to my music heart. On "Trouble" he featured South African singer Nikki Williams who had a minor hit with her 2012 debut single "Kill, Fuck, Marry" but "Trouble" is definitely her best song.

Lena – Thank you

Points: 1718.7
Peak: #4
Weeks: 28
Album: Only love, L
Airplay: #11

For Lena her 1st regular single "Thank you" from her latest album "Only love, L" has become a big hit. I personally like this song. Who has guessed it, when this song is on this list? It took this song nearly two months when it finally peaked at #4 where this song stayed for four weeks.

Zara Larsson – All the time

Points: 1889.7
Peak: #1 (1)
Weeks: 25
Album: -
Airplay: #16

When I first listened to this song I didn’t find it very exciting and I didn’t thought that this song will go all the way up to #1. Over the summer "All the time" grows on me and finally in August it reached the summit. It stayed for one week at the top and is now her 2nd #1.

Pink – I am here

Points: 1915.4
Peak: #1 (2)
Weeks: 26
Album: Beautiful trauma
Airplay: #18

Another summer #1 can be found at #14. Pink topped the chart with her album cut "I am here" from the album "Beautiful trauma". I believe that this song should have gained more attention, but it is what it is and I'm happy to have seen this song climbing up all the way to #1 during the summer of 2019.

Shakira – Nada

Points: 1924.8
Peak: #1 (1)
Weeks: 32
Album: El Dorado
Airplay: #10

Since her 2001 smash "Whenever wherever" Shakira has become a constant factor for me. I can’t say that I’m a big fan of her or that I like every single from her, but every now and then she is producing big hits. Surprisingly in 2019 she reached #1 with her Spanish single "Nada" ("Nothing"). This song has something that made me really like this song and so it eventually peaked at #1 in January.

Shawn Mendes – If I can’t have you

Points: 1972.1
Peak: #1 (2)
Weeks: 27
Album: Shawn Mendes
Airplay: #13

Back in 2017 Shawn Mendes had his 1st #1 hit with "There’s nothing holdin’ me back". Two years later he had another one with "If I can’t have you". This one is catchy and has the vibe, but I can’t say that I fell in love with this song at the very first listen. It started its chart run at #84 in May and it took "If I can’t have you" until July before reaching the top spot where it stayed for two weeks. The follow up did a little bit better, but more later in this review.

Freya Ridings – Castles

Points: 1975.2
Peak: #2
Weeks: 22 (still charting)
Album: Freya Ridings
Airplay: #29

The last spot outside the Top 10 goes to British singer Freya Ridings with her surprise hit "Castles". Surely she had a hit with "Lost without you" in the UK back in 2017, but I’m not the biggest fan of her voice on this track, so I hardly recognized that I’ve heard her before. When "Castles" had been released I gave her other songs another chance, but I recognized that I definitely go with "Castles" and that I wouldn’t debut her older singles. "Castles" is also the highest ranked non-#1 song.
